We’ve Figured It Out

Start Streamlining Patient Radiology and specialist requests

Physiotherapists are first-contact practitioners with numerous patients requiring Medicare-funded radiology referrals through GPs.

Neither physios nor GPs have the time or compensation to continually chase patients who:

  • Don't organise their scans.

  • Don't respond after completing scans.

Patients and physios both feel frustrated by the complicated referral process, despite the benefit of a GP's medical opinion.

The real issue? Patients struggle with the complexity, time commitment, and inconvenience of moving between physios and GPs multiple times for a single report.

We've simplified this entire process.

The Solution

Allied health professionals dedicate 30-45 minutes to patient assessment, leveraging their specialised musculoskeletal expertise. GPs, responsible for extensive general medical knowledge, can't feasibly match this specialist insight without rigorous training.

Our streamlined approach:

  • Allied health professionals assess and identify the need for a scan or specialist referral, and submit a case within 60 seconds.

  • GPs review and approve swiftly via Telehealth.

  • Our software automatically generates and pre-fills referrals and radiology slips.

  • Patients receive immediate GP consultations and E-slips, with appointments conveniently undertaken via a phone call.

  • Refr actively guides patients through every step, updating allied health professionals seamlessly via patient journey mapping.

The result? Faster communication, reduced administrative workload, improved patient compliance and care, quicker results, and significant savings in unnecessary Medicare costs.

Simple, efficient, solved.

Doesn’t this sound better?

  • The patient will have a referral letter and radiology slip generated and sent to one of our Telehealth partners.

  • The physiotherapist can suggest what scan needs to be done and where they want it done.

  • The patient gets contacted within 15 minutes of doing the form (or can book a time that suits) by our Telehealth GP partner, to confirm their injury and details.

  • The radiology E-slip is signed there and then by the Telehealth GP, sent to the patient and physiotherapist.

Thats not it…

  • Physiotherapist will get notified when the patient has booked the scan, where they booked and when they’ll have the scan.

  • Physiotherapist will get notified when the patient finishes the scan.

  • Physiotherapist will get notified when the report is ready.

  • The patient is contacted by us and hassled to rebook with the physiotherapist to discuss the results and treatment plan.
